PCBs come in all sizes and complexity, (analogue, digital, mixed technology), through hole, surface mount or both, current or obsolete. Whilst we will never have the exact system to plug your PCB in to test it, what we do have is over 30 years experience of PCB repair and a lot of test equipment, plus some very skilled diagnostics engineers.
The most common faults on PCBs can be traced to failed and/or aged components. These can be found by using a variety of test methods we have for either ‘in-circuit’ or ‘out of circuit’ testing. We are able to read memory devices and store emproms. All PCBs we repair go through our standard reliability service where aged and/or failing components are changed, this all adds to increased reliability. We have recently invested in one of the latest and most advanced PCB test and diagnosis fixtures, the Pinpoint IIR.
This enables us to run parts of a circuit we find a fault on so we are more confident that a repair will run first time. All our repair & rework engineers are trained to IPC7711 rework standards. We maybe the only repair company who uses thermal imaging on PCBs to detect faulty or failing components too.
