All upgrades are tested to relevant levels on our load rigs and documented with SERVICEview video for complete traceability. It’s a cost-effective, sustainable alternative to buying new.

Upgrading Legacy Equipment to Modern Standards

Upgrading Legacy Equipment to Modern Standards

Many plants still rely on older drives, HMIs and power supplies that work hard but no longer meet today’s requirements. Our electronics engineers specialise not only in repair, but in bringing legacy equipment up to current standards.

    Typical electronics modernisation work includes:

    • Control & Safety Compliance adding modern interlocks, protective relays and updated firmware to meet current regulations.
    • Performance Enhancements re-engineering PCBs, replacing analogue controls with digital interfaces and fitting higher-temperature components for longer life.
    • Connectivity & Data integrating Industrial Ethernet, modern fieldbus protocols or IIoT gateways so legacy machinery can talk to today’s plant systems.
    • Energy Efficiency retrofitting low-loss power components and smart cooling solutions to reduce running costs and extend service life.
    • Retrofitting Equipment at Fletcher Moorland is delivered through our ability to replace obsolete drives, PLCs, HMIs with modern systems and ensuring complete integration with existing equipment and machinery.
