80 years. 80 days. 24,901 miles. Countless acts of kindness. One incredible £80,000 target.
We did it.
As part of our 80th Anniversary celebrations, we set ourselves an ambitious challenge: to raise £80,000 for Dougie Mac, supporting the incredible care and support they provide to people and families across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.
And thanks to the phenomenal support of our customers, suppliers, team, families, friends and wider Fletcher Moorland community, we reached our goal.

What a way to celebrate 80 years of Fletcher Moorland.
WE ALL CAME TOGETHER!
This wasn't one fundraiser. It wasn't one event. It was months of people coming together, finding new ways to raise money and, most importantly, having plenty of fun along the way.
From our 80 Days Around the World challenge, Silent Auction and Charity Golf Day, to Staff Raffles, Working Hour Donations, Giveaways, Poker Nights, Cake Sales and Curry Nights – every contribution helped move us closer to that £80,000 target.
Some were big fundraising events. Some were small acts of generosity.
But together, they added up to something huge.
24,901 miles around the world
Our 80 Days Around the World challenge saw the Fletcher Moorland team, family and friends collectively cycle and run the equivalent of the Earth's circumference, an incredible 24,901 miles; all in just 80 days.
There were plenty of miles clocked up, plenty of early starts, plenty of tired legs and, no doubt, a few questionable decisions about exactly how far that next run should be!
A special mention goes to our 80 Day Around the World Champions: Alex Wynne, Matt Chidlow and Andy Mansell, who completed the most miles during the challenge.

GOING THE EXTRA MILE
Some people really did go the extra mile when it came to fundraising. Di Bouchier, who has championed our Dougie Mac fundraising from the very beginning, raised an incredible £26,541.Our suppliers also answered the call when Joe Adams asked for their support, contributing a phenomenal £14,827 alone.
And then there were our individual fundraising champions. A huge congratulations to:

Every pound raised, every donation made and every person who encouraged someone else to get involved played a part in getting us here.
THE PERFECT WAY TO CELEBRATE 80 YEARS
Fletcher Moorland has been keeping industry running since 1946.
As we celebrate 80 years in business, it felt right that our anniversary celebrations should be about more than looking back.
They should also be about giving something back.
And that's exactly what this campaign has allowed us to do.
We've had an incredible year celebrating our people, our customers, our suppliers and the relationships that have helped Fletcher Moorland reach this milestone.
But being able to bring everyone together around something that can make a real difference in our local community has been the icing on the cake.

We're delighted to have officially handed over our £80,000 cheque to Esther and Nikki, Senior Business & Events Fundraisers at Dougie Mac.
And while we're incredibly proud of the number on that cheque, what matters most is what that £80,000 represents.
It's helping support the vital care provided by Dougie Mac to people and families across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.

In fact, £80,000 represents a little over a day of the fantastic care and support provided by Dougie Mac – and that's one day we're delighted to be able to help fund.
