Electric motors are made up of a number of coils (most often copper) and these can and do fail. The original coils are ‘wound’ to a number of turns and the simplest and most appropriate way to repair them is to ‘rewind’ them. Hence, electric motor rewinds!

One of our motor repair engineers will test the motor electrically and where appropriate and necessary strip it down to its base components for a mechanical inspection. Electric Motor Testing
Repairing your electric motor is only part of the process. Whatever route we take, be it a rewind, repair or refurbishment we don’t finish the job there. We have a dedicated mechanical and electrical testing bench.
We will run the electrical motor and check that there’s no mechanical vibration and that all phases are correctly balanced. We ensure our electric motor repairs and rotor assemblies are balanced to a G1.0 specification.

Like New Electric Motor Finish
When we’ve completed an electric motor repair, rewind or refurbishment we make sure that it has been fully stripped down and every element cleaned appropriately.
Part of the final presentation of a repaired motor is it’s paint finish. We have invested in our own spray bay. This allows us to coat your motor in the original colours we received it in, or for those who require a colour appropriate for its placement within your operation.
We take pride in restoring your electric motor to its pristine, "like new" condition and delivering it with a gleaming finish.
