2016 sees the 70th anniversary of the birth of the company, that just goes to show we have a great deal of experience and understanding of what you are looking for in a repair company. We have tailored our service into two service levels to support our customers, these are our standard service and our urgent service. You can trust Fletcher Moorland to solve all your industrial electronic repair problems.
A turnaround to suit you
Our standard service means you will get your part back on site within 10 days. Our urgent service means that we will work on your repair until completion, most of the time returning your part back within 24 hours.
Free collection and delivery
For our standard service we will arrange the collection and delivery of parts from anywhere in the UK free of charge.
It is our policy to spend time to diagnose each item we receive for repair, this is carried out by a skilled diagnostic engineer and our repair quotation will detail the faults found and all the repair work we will carry out to fix your equipment.
This is our new and innovative approach to repairs, we will provide a video tailored to you alongside your quote, we will explain our diagnosis and how we will carry out the repair. If you require we will also create a video of your unit under final test before shipping back to you. Take a look at our SERVICEview.
No fix – no fee
Unfortunately, there are occasions when a repair cannot be carried out due to damage found or parts availability. If we have quoted you on a standard service repair then we find a repair cannot be carried out, you wont be charged, even if you want the unit returning to you.
Not just a repair
Although we use the word repair a lot, it’s not exactly all we offer. Every item that passes through our workshop is completely refurbished. For example with automation parts we change parts that we know degrade due to age or use, these include electrolytic capacitors (incidentally we upgrade all capacitors to 105°types) opto-isolators, fans, relays, inrush components. As for the engineers carrying out the refurbishment, well they are all trained to IPC7711/21 quality rework standard. To ensure we increase the lifespan of your equipment it is our policy that ‘all repairs and refurbishments are to be as good as new’. As for rotating equipment we are the first company to publish our repair specification.
Peace of mind
All repairs and refurbishments are covered by a comprehensive 12 month return-to-base warranty for your piece of mind. We don’t just cover the work we’ve done but the whole unit. That’s the same warranty as you would normally receive with a new item from the OEM.
